  • Santiago de Chile is one of the most exciting cities in Latin America, and you will enjoy your visit. You will see real contrasts between the modern and the colonial part.
  • Valparaíso and Viña del Mar will charm you with its architecture, streets and places. It is a magical place of unique and beautiful landscapes.
  • Puerto Varas is located in the 10th Region of Los Lagos, on the shores of Lake Llanquihue. It is located 70 meters above sea level and has the presence of German settlers who arrived in the area during the years 1852 and 1853. Today it is one of the most important tourist centres in Chile.
  • Torres del Paine, also known as Macizo or Cordillera del Paine, is a group of mountains that are located in the Southern Chilean Patagonia, specifically within the Torres del Paine National Park.
  • Located 150 kilometres from the city of Puerto Natales and 400 km north of Punta Arenas, Torres del Paine National Park, is one of the favourite destinations of tourists travelling to Chile. It was recently named the Eighth Wonder of the World and chosen as the fifth most beautiful place on earth.

Itinerary

Day 1Santiago de Chile

• Upon your arrival, we will receive you at the airport and bring you safely and comfortably to your hotel.
• City tour: Visiting the main tourist attractions.
• Santiago is a mixture of the old and the modern, features that we invite you to know. Our trip through Santiago will show the immensity of the city, its varied geography and civility.
• We will guide you through the Main Square of Santiago, where the Cathedral, Main Post Office and City Hall are located. You will be told about the origins of our city.
• Next stop is the civic neighbourhood and the surroundings of La Moneda Government Palace.
• After that, we will drive through some of the old areas of Santiago, such as República and Concha y Toro neighbourhoods.
• Later we will visit the eastern part of the city, and we will see the modern buildings and the changes that they have brought to the district.
• We finish our tour in a handicraft store, located in an exclusive neighbourhood, where we’ll appreciate with a Pisco Sour, Lapizlázuli masterpieces, made with this stone that just exists in Chile and Afghanistan.
• Return your hotel.
• Enjoy your first night at your preferred hotel in Santiago.

Day 2Santiago, Valparaíso and Viña del Mar

• Breakfast buffet served in hotel restaurant.
• We will begin our tour from the hotel, in a 120-kilometre trip towards the Pacific Ocean.
• Our “Garden City”, Viña del Mar, will charm us with its architecture, its streets, palaces, and Quinta Vergara.
• We will have the possibility to know a Moai statue from Easter Island and a handcraft store of Lapizlasuli (Faba).
• Following we are going to visit the port city of Valparaiso dating back 1536. The city was declared World Heritage by Unesco, and it is currently the site of the legislative power of Chile. It is a magical place of unique and unforgettable landscapes with colourful neighbourhoods and picturesque funicular elevators. We visit Sotomayor Square and the port, where we can navigate through Valparaiso Bay.
• In the evening, we will return to Santiago.
• Overnight at your preferred hotel in Santiago.

Day 3Santiago, Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas

• Transfer to Santiago airport, to your flight to Puerto Montt.
• Reception at the El Tepual Airport (Puerto Montt) and transfer to your hotel.
• Overnight at your preferred hotel in Puerto Varas.
• Breakfast and lunch box included.

Day 04Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, Chiloé Island, Castro and Dalcahue

• Today we have a full day tour and we are going to visit the northern part of Chiloé Island.
• After a 30-minute trip by ferry, watching a wide variety of birds, we will get to a small village called Chacao to visit the main square and the church.
• We go to Dalcahue, where we stop at the promenade to walk and visit the handicraft market, museum and church.
• Now it´s time to have a delicious lunch.
• Following, we go to Castro city through a coastal road.
• We will head to the Gamboa River stilt houses, the main square and the church.
• Next, we go to a small village known as Nercón to visit the last church of our journey.
• Return to Puerto Varas.
• Overnight at your preferred hotel in Puerto Varas.
• Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 05Puerto Varas, Petrohué, Lake Todos los Santos and Peulla

• Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel.
• At 08:30 hrs, we will initiate the excursion beginning the tour visiting the Petrohué Riverfalls.
• After that, we will arrive in Petrohué to embark on a navigation that will take us to Peulla, a small ecological village of 120 inhabitants. It is part of the famous tourist circuit called Cruce Andino (Andean Crossing). The sailing lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and we will see the volcanoes Osorno, Puntiagudo, and Tronador, besides enjoying a privileged view of the Margarita Island.
• Once in Peulla, you have the opportunity to make some adventure excursions (not included in the price) as canopy, horseback riding, fishing excursions, ride in jetboat, and a safari offered in this natural paradise.
• After a marvellous day, full of activities, we return to your hotel.
• Overnight at your preferred hotel Puerto Varas.
• Breakfast included.

Day 06Puerto Varas and Puerto Natales

• Transfer from your hotel in Puerto Varas to the Puerto Montt Airport.
• Reception at the Punta Arenas Airport (we recommend you take the first flight to Punta Arenas, arriving before 12:00 pm)
• Transfer to the city and leisure time.
• At 04:00 pm we start the city tour and visit an interesting museum.
• After that, transfer to the local terminal to take the regular bus heading to the city of Puerto Natales. (Length: 03:15 hrs)
• Upon arrival, we bring you from terminal to your hotel.
• Overnight at your preferred hotel in Puerto Natales.
• Breakfast included.

Day 07Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park

• After your breakfast, approximately at 07:30 am, we will depart from the hotel to start the full-day excursion that will lead us to the stunning Milodon Cave Natural Monument and later to the Torres del Paine National Park.
• You will enjoy overwhelming views of the impressive mountains and beautiful lakes such as Sarmiento, Nordenskjold and Pehoé. Its rich fauna will be present through “guanacos” and “foxes”, among others, including several birds we easily can watch during the trip.
• A short trek will take us to the Salto Grande, a magnificient waterfall coming from the rivers of the park.
• Then, returning to the main road, we will access the administrative headquarters of CONAF to continue to the Grey Lake where after a 30-minute walk through a thousand-years forest, we will get to its beach. This is a place to admire, and you can see big pieces of icebergs coming from the glacier.
• A box lunch is included in the service.
• At 07:30 pm we will return to your hotel.
• Overnight at your preferred hotel in Puerto Natales.
• Breakfast and box lunch included.

Day 08Puerto Natales, Balmaceda, Serrano Glacier and Punta Arenas (21 de Mayo Embarkation)

• Breakfast and departure from the hotel to a local pier to start our sailing to the Balmaceda Glacier and Serrano Glacier.
• This sailing lasts about four hours to the Bernardo O´Higgins National Park.
• During the trip, we will be able to watch cormorants and sea lions colonies, waterfalls and cliffs, the perfect home for the majestic condor.
• Later, we will approach land on “Puerto Toro” docking area, from where we will start a short trek to the Serrano Glacier, crossing a native forest and the lake’s shore.
• Lunch in Estancia Perales or box lunch.
• Approximately at 05:30 pm, we will return to Puerto Natales.
• At the agreed time, transfer to take the regular bus heading to Punta Arenas (3:15 hours).
• We receive you at the terminal and bring you to the hotel.
• Overnight at your preferred hotel in Punta Arenas.
• Breakfast and lunch box included.

Day 09Punta Arenas

• After a restful night’s sleep and a delicious breakfast, it´s time to say Good-Bye, and we bring you back to the airport, to take your flight home.
